Great pictures! Is it hot there? It seems you're one of the few wearing shorts and sandals.
ReplyDeleteHelen, some days it is hot here. We find that we get warm as we walk. Although the day starts out cool, we are warm/hot by the end. You are right; we see few shorts and sandals, mostly worn by foreigners. In fact, Mark wanted to buy more shorts but we have found none. He also wanted to buy better sneakers but hasn't found a big enough size yet.
ReplyDeleteLove the Pictures!! It must have Mark climbing the walls not to be able to strike up a conversation with everyone he meets on the way.
ReplyDeleteHi, Mark & Cheryl---miss you guys!!! Thanks so much for the newsy, descriptive posts. Also love the pictures; helps us imagine your path about the time we are all eating supper here in SC. Will try to call soon. I haven't yet called as I always think you are either on the subway or trying to get out the door or trying to get some sleep:)
